Allison Weissman Citron and Melissa Weissman Rosenberg are two sisters who grew up in Staten Island, NY. Upon hearing of the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy, they desperately wanted to do something but did not know what or how. Hence, one idea, a few days, and a few conversations ago, The Weissman Fund was born... this is now an online portal in partnership with onepenny.org, and it ensures that ABSOLUTELY 100% of EVERY SINGLE DONATION goes directly into the hands of the victims who were hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy.
